Hands-on with Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines

I set up and managed a Linux-based Microsoft Azure Virtual Machine as part of my ongoing cloud learning journey.

Key tasks included:

• Configured passwordless SSH authentication for secure access
• Scaled VM compute resources up and down
• Set custom port rules via the Network Security Group (NSG)
• Deployed a Next.js website by cloning, building, and running it on the VM
• Customized the Message of the Day (MOTD) to display useful system information

This project helped solidify my understanding of Linux server management and Azure cloud operations.
