Application of AI in Mechanical Engineering

I spoke to a multilingual audience that included many university undergraduates about the various ways in which AI can help usher in the next generation of engineering.

The session explored how machine learning and intelligent systems can enhance areas like:

• Control systems and robotics

The event was an online webinar organized by InnovationBed AI Labs — an African platform leveraging technology and philanthropy to promote AI/ML literacy among youth, especially undergraduates across the continent.

I highlighted relevant research areas and practical use cases to inspire early-career engineers to engage with AI-driven innovation.
