Introduction to Blockchain

I gave an introductory talk on blockchain technology hosted by the WorldCom Intellectuals community.

The session covered:

• The fundamentals of distributed ledgers and consensus mechanisms
• The difference between cryptocurrencies, smart contracts, and decentralized applications
• Real-world use cases of blockchain in finance, identity systems, and supply chain
• Challenges surrounding regulation and adoption

The goal was to help attendees — many of whom were new to blockchain — gain a clear understanding of how the technology works and its potential beyond cryptocurrency.

It was a YouTube livestream, with active participation and thoughtful questions from the audience throughout the session.
